Sunday

I think I can fly!

WE spent the afternoon at the beach - it was beautiful, the sun really warm and the sky blue as summer! I love this pic I got of my daughter jumping at the waves - please note she isn't silly and stand out of the sea so not to get wet when landing!!

You almost need sunglasses for this picture don't you - low sun on sparkling water!

I love this pic, Elli and E comparing feet sizes!!

OK so back to the jewellery I have been creating and oxidising again!! Don't worry I promise more shiney sparkly pieces tomorrow!! I just couldn't resist showing you what a wonderful day at the beach complete with little pasties - well we are Cornish!!

Against the Grain is an oxidised bangle with fw pearl and Rose Quartz - the darkness of the silver really brings the stones out, don't you think??

I love the footsteps in the sand. Can remember doing much the same with boys last summer, except they all have bigger feet than me now!

I do envy you living on the Cornish coast, I've good ol' Southend-on-sea as my nearest beach - it doesn't compare as it really just overlooks the Thames Estuary. I'd rather look at sparkly blue than grey.

Beautiful pictures but I am so jealous. Where the heck were you that you could actually go on the beach! I'm in Indianapolis and it was 10 degrees FARENHEIT this morning! (And we had tornados last night. Crazy.)

ohhhhh my husband would find it exciting - he wanted to go strom chasing on our honeymoon!!

We live in the UK but right at the bottom in a lovely county called Cornwall. We have really mild winters because of the Gulf Stream - even though we are at the same latitude as Canada!!
